Honda teases the interior redesign of the crossover.
A photo of the cargo area showing the rear seats folded down reveals some of the dash at its front. It is very similar to the one found in the new Civic. You can see a portion of the infotainment screen mounted on the dash. It appears that the honeycomb mesh that is found below the HVAC controls can be seen.
Honda is showing off the new styling of the HR-V, which is quite a departure from the old design. The rear has a higher rake and the front is more aggressive with a sculpted head, gaping grille and sleek headlights. The HR-V is also larger than the previous model due to the new platform. It’s wider and has a longer wheelbase.
Honda has not yet provided details about the new powertrain for the crossover, but it seems that the 1.8-liter engine is gone, possibly to make way for the Civic’s new powertrain duo. You can choose from either the turbo-inline-four 2.0-liter or 1.5-liter engines. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder is more powerful than the 1.8, but Honda will have to confirm this. Honda has not yet announced the 2023 HTML-V’s on-sale date. Before the new HR-V hits dealer lots, Honda needs to reveal all the details about the interior and the powertrain options. Honda should reveal the new HR-V soon so it can be sold before the end.
