This rig’s walls hinge upwards to create massing awnings at both ends.
Dan also replaced the rear suspension with a single-wheel system. This motorhome features a four-wheel drive and a manual five-speed gearbox. Dan claims that he uses the first gear to crawl around off-road. The vehicle seems to be able to tackle trails easily, as can be seen in the video.
This vehicle has a lot of storage. Dan designed it. Each side has slide-out drawers. A swiveling toolbox holds his pots and pans as well as dry goods. A bumper-mounted holder allows for extra fuel and water to be carried at the back. A carrier is available for a spare tire. The camper has a small door that allows you to enter.
Dan’s Fuso places function above style inside. There is no decoration. There is enough space to stand straight thanks to the raised roof. There is a table for him to eat at. Dan sleeps on a small bed in the back. Although the space appears small, Dan says it is sufficient for him. You can turn a bench into a guest bedroom. A bank of lithium-ion battery banks provides power for approximately 540 hours. A 3,000-watt inverter is also available. Dan has two solar panels: one on the roof, and one that he can put on the ground. He can also plug in to shore power when he is at a campsite. The construction is not complete. Dan plans to add a shower and sink to his home, as well as the water storage. A cassette toilet is all Dan needs, so a place for washing up is not a problem.
