The band Kiss will be on the center stage in July when Paul Stanley, the frontman for Kiss, will put his 2022 Chevrolet Corvette convertible up to auction. The guitar will be included in the ‘Vette, which will carry a bit of the Kiss rock & rolling legacy when it crosses the Barrett Jackson auction block in Las Vegas.
This Corvette, despite celebrity ownership, is the first production model for 2022. VIN 001 is a convertible with 3LT trim. It features a black exterior trim and pewter wheels, as well as a Saddle interior. This helps to offset the fiery metallic finish. Stanley was actually involved in the creation of that paint shade. In 2014, the rockstar and Chevrolet collaborated to create a 2015 Corvette Stingray special for the SEMA Show. This color was very similar to the factory reds that would be followed, such as the Red Mist Metallic shown here.

Stanley is selling the ‘Vette. Barrett-Jackson says he is not a collector, and was shocked when the model he ordered turned out to be the first production car in 2022. He wants it to be available to anyone who can get more from it, whether they are a collector or just cruising. Stanley is not allowed to give any additional information about the car. It’s also unclear how many hours Stanley spent behind the wheel. Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas auction, June 30 to July 2, will see the Corvette up for sale with no reserve.
