Cadillac Custom Pickup Truck Wants to Escalade All Things

This is actually a 2021 Silverado disguised.

The Cadillac Escalade EXT was no longer available in the United States, Canada and Mexico. It was also discontinued in 2013, owing to low sales. It was actually one of the 10 most-sold vehicles in America during its last year. Only 1,972 units were sold in 12 months. It was not a huge business success for Cadillac, at least over the past three-four years. However, it did manage to develop a following among auto enthusiasts.

People may miss the Escalade EXT because it was essentially a more luxurious version of the Chevrolet Avalanche. An aftermarket truck shop in Miami made a cool modern-day Escalade pickup by using the front end from a 2021 Escalade and adding it to the body of a 2021 Silverado truck. Although the overall execution is excellent, we are not sure about the tires and wheels combination.

According to MuscleCarsAndTrucks reports the tuning project was completed by Dom’s Garage Miami. It reportedly required many custom fabrications for the original 2021 Silverado body. Although we don’t know everything, it appears that the Escalade front fascia matches the overall design of Silverado. We mentioned that the wheels and low-profile tires are not our favorite, but the creators may have been trying to make a street truck appearance. However, the striking red exterior color is perfect.

Reports surfaced that Cadillac might bring back the Cadillac luxury truck, based on the new Cadillac SUV. This was several months after the Escalade EXT was discontinued. Eight years later, Caddy seems to have lost interest in the low-volume luxury pickup segment. The original Escalade EXT was launched to compete with the Lincoln Blackwood. It was succeeded by the Lincoln Mark LT in a single year.
