New spy images have been released from Europe showing the next generation Honda Civic hatchback.

A new set of spy photos from Europe has revealed the next generation Honda Civic hatchback.

The prototype is actually the same as last week, but it has a modified Acura ILX chassis with a shorter rear overhang. It also has the taillights from the Civic hatchback. We were able to verify the license plate and find that the vehicle was registered in the United Kingdom on February 1, as a Honda 1.5-liter gasoline engine.

It is most likely the iVTEC Turbo motor that Honda announced last month in New York, when it unveiled the Civic Coupe concept. Direct-injection four-cylinder engines will be available with both a six-speed manual gearbox and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) for short-shifting.

The next generation Honda Civic is set to become a global model. It will be available in a sedan or coupe, while information about a wagon version of the Civic is not yet available. The Type R model, which is the most powerful version of the Civic, has been confirmed. It will also be sold in the United States.

The hatchback will be made in the United Kingdom, while the US-spec versions of it will be built in the United States.

Honda previously stated that the tenth generation Civic in US-spec will be available for purchase this fall.
