There are over $52,000 worth options when you check every box in the configurator.

The 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 has 25 horsepower (18 kilowatts), is more robust, can go 12.3 seconds faster around the Nurburgring and is slightly more expensive than its predecessor. It starts at $143,600 and is the most expensive 911 available. However, most people would argue that it’s worth it. We’ve driven it.

Porsche already has the configurator in place for its latest model. With so many options, it can quickly get costly. Black, Guards Red and Racing Yellow are the standard colors. You’ll pay an additional $720 if you want to choose one of seven metallic colors. Even more costly are the four “Special” colors.

The four “Special” colors are Carmine Red (Chalk), Chalk, Lava Orange, Miami Blue, and will each cost $4,220 more. There are 15 available color options, and that’s just for the body. You can have your wheels painted in Satin Aluminum, Satin Platinum or Satin Black for an additional $1,220. Satin Black with red outer lip guards (like this one) costs $1,920. Standard equipment includes 20-inch wheels for the GT3.

The Porsche logo can be painted for an additional $380. To have the model designation and logo painted together, it’s $600. For $170, the door handles can be painted gloss black. There are many exterior lighting options and headlight trim options available – perhaps too many to list here – that can cost well above $2,000.

The GT3’s cabin comes standard with either a black-ongrey or Alcantara leather finish. The seats and dash can also be upgraded for an additional $3,480 with leather and Alcantara. This is available in standard black and grey, or black and red. Full bucket seats are available for $5,200, and eighteen-way adaptive sport seats can be purchased for $2,640.

The Ceramic Composite Brake package, which costs $9,210, is the best option in terms of performance. A front axle lift system is $2,590 and a sport chrono package is $550. For $140, you can add a fuel tank with extended range (23.7 gallons). There are $52,210 worth options available. This does not include an additional $1,490 for colored key fob holders or a tool kit.

Whatever options you choose, the 911 GT3 comes standard equipped with a 500-hp (372kW) engine. This is what you really need at end of the day.
