2022 Ram 1500 Laramie and Rebel G/T Debut with Performance Parts

New G/T editions for the 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie & Rebel are available. They fit trucks with a few performance parts and exterior upgrades. They will be available for purchase in the third quarter 2021. The Laramie G/T starts from $55,480 and the Rebel G/T is $55,375. There’s also a $1,695 destination charge for both.

G/T models get a cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust. They also have a console-mounted floorshifter, paddle shifters and performance pages for their infotainment system. The package also includes an extra vent hood and G/T decals at the rear fenders.

The bucket seats are branded with the G/T logo inside. You can also cover the pedals with all-weather floor mats or metal covers.

Only the 5.7-liter V8 with eTorque mild hybrid assistance is available for the Ram 1500 Laramie G/T or Rebel G/T. It produces 395 horsepower (291 kilowatts), and 410 pound feet (556 Newton-meters), of torque. Only trucks equipped with the Crew Cab configuration can receive this package.

Ram makes many special editions and limited-run options packages for its trucks. The Ram 1500 Limited 10th anniversary Edition was unveiled by recently. It features a more luxurious interior. The Mopar Special Edition was also available. This edition received parts from Stellantis’ Aftermarket Division. A variety of Built to Serve editions was offered with special colorsin recognition of the US military branches.

Ram truck sales remain strong. The company shipped 164,232 pickups in the second quarter (the brand does not distinguish the 1500 from the other models). This was 39.8 per cent more than the 117.448 units delivered in the same period in 2020. The brand has shipped 313,068 trucks so far in 2019, compared to 246,253 trucks at the same time in 2020. This was a 27 percent increase.
