2022 Kia Niro Reveals Big Headlights With A Less Camo

2022 Kia Niro Reveals Big Headlights With A Less Camo

In the next few months, a debut is anticipated.

The Kia Niro model is a relatively recent model in the automaker’s lineup. It was launched in 2018 in the US. As countless spy photos have revealed, Kia has already given the crossover a complete overhaul. These spy photos reveal that the Niro has removed some of the cladding which had been covering the front fascia. This exposes the large headlights. Camouflage wraps at the front of the crossover continue to hide some styling details.

The headlights seem to be above a grille that is cut into the bumper. This grille is larger than the one on the current model. Unfortunately, camouflage is effective in hiding other details. The cladding covers the sides, rear end and hood. This distorts the rear’s form to great effect. The taillights, which are vertically oriented, can be seen through cladding. These look very similar to the ones found on Kia’s 2019 Habaniro Concept. Although it’s unclear how much the concept’s design will be influenced by the new Niro’s, we expect Kia’s to take the inspiration.

The underpinnings of the new Niro, which is based on J-Eco architecture and the Hyundai Ioniq, will be shared with the new Niro. The current Niro can be purchased as a hybrid, plug-in hybrid or fully electric. Kia will offer this option in the new model. It’s possible that not all powertrains will be available in every country. The interior of the new Niro will be traditional, as it was too futuristic for the Habaniro.

In the next few months, the redesigned 2022 Kia Niro will likely debut before the launch of the 2022 model year. As it undergoes an extensive brand relaunch, many of its models have been redesigned. The new Kia logo has also appeared on many models. The brand relaunch is intended to be more fashionable while focusing on electric cars. Kia has promised 11 EVs by 2025.
