You can even have a pop-up roof.
It’s clear that #vanlife will be as popular in 2021 as ever. There have been many DIY camper van projects. While some may seem daunting, this classic camper van is easy to assemble. Although you won’t be living in it, you can make it smaller than you are.
This is a classic Volkswagen T2 Camper Van This is Lego’s latest offering in the Creator Expert series. The detail is amazing. We say this because Pretty much It’s easy to build, and recommended for those aged 18 or older. This is how it should be framed. Lego This set is designed specifically for adults and takes 2,207 pieces to construct.
These photos will show you that patience is worth it. This kit features a pop-up roof that looks just like a real camper. The interior is also detailed and has all the necessary amenities for a camper van. The kitchen includes a fridge, sink, and cabinets. You’ll also find cups throughout the interior.
The rear seat folds down, the table pivots out and plaid fabric curtains attaches to the windows. To replicate the real-life van, the pop-up section has a fabric cover. And, last but not least, this is an imitation of a motorized van with wheels. The front is where the passenger and driver sits. The steering wheel turns both the front and back wheels. The teal/white exterior lights are faithfully reproduced as well as the front-mount spare tire. The cool kit also includes a surfboard and neat-o Lego folding chair.
Sven Franic, Lego Designer, stated that although the Volkswagen Camper is a familiar model in our Lego cars collection this new version brings more delights to Lego builders. The interior is well-designed and will appeal to both experienced campers as well as adventurers. While the exterior is striking with a pop up roof, it is just as impressive engineering.
However, such detail comes at a price. Lego claims that its T2 Camper Kit will retail for $179.99 and will be available at Lego stores starting August 1.
