Ferrari 812 Competizione And 296 GTB Spotted Up Close In London

It is a sight to behold.

Although deliveries of the Ferrari 812 Competizione will not begin until the first quarter next year, one example of the new V12 flagship model was spotted in London. The video shows the supercar being loaded from a trailer while still sporting factory protection wheel caps. It’s then revved several times before being driven at low speeds. Finally, a 296 GTB joins the supercar.

Although we don’t know much about the story behind this 812 Competizione, it is likely that it was parked in London as a demonstration vehicle. The video ends with the supercar parked in a Ferrari showroom. Customers deliveries will not begin until the first quarter 2022. The open-top Aperta model is expected to follow in the fourth quarter 2022.

The Prancing Horse’s 6.5-liter engine has been modified to produce a maximum output of 830 horsepower (619 Kilowatts) , and 510 pound-feet (692 Newton meters) of torque. The Ferrari’s most powerful combustion engine is currently in production, but that could be changing as the automaker has already confirmed that a more powerful V12 is in development.

The 296 GTB is the first six-cylinder Ferrari with the Prancing Horse badge. It’s powered by a hybrid system. The engine is a 3.0-liter gasoline motor with 654 horsepower (488 kW), and an electric motor that produces a total of 818 HP (610 kW) as well as 546 lb/ft (740 Nm). The car can reach speeds of 62 mph from a standstill (0-100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds.

It’s amazing to see Ferrari’s new flagship car on the streets. But, it’s even more impressive to see two of the most popular products in the brand’s collection right next to one another. Enjoy the video!
