This engine was a 2005 SL600.
The Regal was originally designed as an upscale personal car of midsize size in the 1970s. It inherits the Century design, except for the modified grille and taillights. It was a great car, and a good example of the personal luxury car trend Buick began but didn’t realize the full potential of with the Pontiac Grand Prix or Chevrolet Monte Carlo. It received a sedan version in its second year. This kind of defeats the purpose.
The Regal was able to return to its original form. Coupe In 1978, the second-generation Regal was introduced. It’s now smaller and brings back personal luxury vehicles. The second-generation Regal is available in a Turbo-T version with a variety of pumped-up engines. The Buick Regal TurboT Limited is what you see in these photos.
The Regal was an exceptional car, and a highly sought-after vehicle for collectors and enthusiasts. What if you put a massive Mercedes M275 V12 motor in it? This is what we found out when this man uploaded this Youtube video under the WhitelegacyGuy moniker.
Apart from the video, the Buick Regal owner with biturbo Mercedes M275 V12 generously shares the modifications he made to the vehicle. The 5.5-liter V12 engine came from a 2005 Mercedes SL600 equipped with a 5G–Tronic transmission. Two PTE 6266 turbochargers provide 24 PSI of boost.
The engine-swapped Royal also received eight-piston brakecalipers from Mercedes E-Class, and front rotors of a Corvette C6 Z06. Chevy coil packs were also used by the owner. An MS3Pro ECU manages the engine. Although the description did not include any output figures, the owner stated that the car could produce 1000 horsepower at 24 PSI boosts.
What do you think about this build? What do you think? Is this a nay, or a is it yay.
