Mercedes-Benz S400 4MATIC Coupe joins the expanding S-Class Coupe family.
Mercedes-Benz S400 4MATIC Coupe joins the expanding S-Class Coupe family. The only change in design is the V6 3.0-liter turbo engine. This S-Class Coupe has 362 horsepower (270 kW) at 5,500-6,000 rpm, and 369 lb-ft (575 Nm) at 1,800-4,500 rpm. The model’s name suggests that power is sent to the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system via a 7GTRONIC PLUS automatic transmission.
This hardware arrangement enables the 2016 Mercedes S400 4MATIC Coupe run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 5.6 seconds and top out at an electronically-restricted 155 mph (250 km/h). The model produces 28.3mpg (8.3liters/100 km) and emits 193g/km. The S-Class comes standard with a wide range of equipment, including adaptive LED headlights as well as the THERMOTRONIC automatic temperature control system. The AIRMATIC air suspension and Active Parking Assist are included, as well as the latest generation of COMAND Online infotainment. The S400 4MATIC Coupe is priced at $109,279 in Germany (EUR99,000.960). It is already available on the domestic market, and delivery should begin in early 2019.
