Official Interior Photos of 2017 Peugeot 3008 Leaked

A few images of the interior of Peugeot’s new 3008 have been found. They are due to be released later in the year.

Peugeot is known for creating some very unique interior designs over the years. But this time, it appears that the French have done a great job. These pictures show the interior design of the next-generation 3008, which will be a crossover and MPV as evidenced by spy shots. The spy images we have just received also included a camouflaged prototype and a completely digital instrument cluster. Now, we can see the display in a better light. It appears to be quite large. The analog dials have been replaced with a large, customizable digital screen that sits on top of the vehicle like other Peugeots equipped with the iCockpit dashboard. You will also notice that the infotainment screen is larger than before and the new model 3008 has fewer buttons than the previous model. This is because the infotainment’s screen now displays many functions, making the dashboard look less cluttered. The multi-layered dashboard looks very similar to the Peugeot Quartz concept that was displayed at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

It is also quite impressive, with a two-spoke design as well as a flat surface in the upper and lower regions. The gear shifter, which has an unusual shape, is also quite unique. Blue ambient lighting seems to help create a comfortable atmosphere. The second-generation Peugeot 3008 will be introduced by Peugeot at the Paris Motor Show in October. It will likely be offered with either front- or all-wheel-drive options and will be based on PSA’s EMP2 platform. A variety of turbocharged three and four-cylinder engines will provide power, while the HYbrid4 diesel-electric setup won’t be available as PSA plans to eliminate it entirely. A likely online unveiling is planned for the crossover in the months ahead of its debut in Paris. Sales will begin before 2017’s end.
