The SL trim also has new standard features.
The Polaris Slingshot is a great choice for three-wheelers or four-wheelers. Owners can also enjoy more comfort in the 2017 model year. Polaris has launched the top-spec SLR trim. An optional sunshade allows for the removal of a roof above the heads. The SLR can be easily identified from the outside due to their two-tone paint scheme that includes black accents and an Orange Madness body or Turbo Silver body. This model features composite brake rotors, a 305-millimeter-wide rear tire and 40 mm more than the base and SL trims. The interior features LED lighting, components from Sparco, such as the shift knob, pedal covers and steering wheel, as well as Sparco’s components. The SLR will go on sale in August for $28,499.
The 2017 Slingshot SL also has minor improvements. Two new colors are available to customers: Sunset Red or Black Pearl. The trikes now include a wind deflector and new accent hood graphics. They also have cut-and-sew seat fabric and Rockford Fosgate speakers. The base Slingshot starts at $21,999 and prices start at $25,499 A 2.4-liter four cylinder with 173 horsepower drives all of them. The rear wheel is turned by a five-speed manual transmission. The new Slingshade by Polaris is now available for Slingshot trimmings. It lets occupants escape the sun. The Slingshade is available in red or black and costs $2,999.99. To create a roof, the accessory attaches to the passenger area. Tinted glass allows for light to enter the cabin through the top. Owners don’t have to take the entire thing down. They can simply remove the T-top panels and go open-air. Because the Slingshade does not extend the windshield nor add side windows to the vehicle, inclement weather could still pose a problem for those who are inside.
