Tuned versions of the Tacoma and Tundra and 4Runner are ready to go on an adventure.

Toyota will unveil its new TRD Pro lineup, which includes off-road-ready models. The improvements will make the 4Runner and Tacoma more rugged and capable. All models now have 2.5-inch Fox internal bypass shock absorbers. You can choose from three different colors for the trio: Super White, Midnight Black metallic, or TRD-exclusive Voodoo Blue.

Multiple bypass zones are found in Fox shocks. They can be initially soft but then become stiffer as the piston moves through them. The rear has an external reservoir that increases the oil volume to provide better damping for hard driving. Dust boots protect the parts from dirt and debris.

The 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro has additional suspension upgrades to help it cope with rough roads. For better handling, the springs increase the front ride height by 1 inch. The skid plate protects valuable mechanical parts and adds style to the truck with red TRD lettering. Black 16-inch wheels increase the truck’s track by 1 inch at the front, rear and Goodyear Wrangler KEVLAR All-Terrain tires wrap around it.

Black bezels are placed around the taillights and taillights. LED fog lights and a dark chrome exhaust tip are also available. The optional TRD Desert Air Intake can be ordered by buyers. It routes a snorkel up to the A-pillar, so the truck’s engine can breath clean air.

The Tacoma is an off-road-ready vehicle that can be used inside for adventures. The infotainment system includes navigation and a subwoofer for stereo. TRD Pro logos are placed on the headrests of leather-trimmed seats. The branding is also on the floor mats.

Tundra TRD Pro is for those who want more space but the same capabilities. The Tundra TRD Pro’s revised springs provide a two-inch increase in front ride height and a 1.5-inch increase in wheel travel. These parts increase rear wheel travel by more than two inches. Under the truck, a front skid plate protects it.

The Tundra TRD Pro, like the smaller Tacoma has black trim around its LED headlights and LED fog lights. The hood has a new scoop. BBS’s 18-inch black five-spoke wheels with black spokes reduce the unsprung weight by 13.4 lbs. The back of the vehicle has two dark exhaust tips.

TRD Pro logos are found throughout the cabin, on leather seats and floor matts as well as on the emblem on the centre console. The red stitching adds an extra pop of color.

4Runner TRD Pro

The 4Runner TRD Pro also has LED fog lights and smoked trim around its headlights. The springs have been upgraded to increase front wheel travel and ride height by one-inch. A TRD-branded skidplate is also available. The track is increased by one inch with the black 17-inch wheels. They also use Nitto Terra Grappler all terrain tires. You can also use a standard roof rack to transport more gear into the wilderness.

There are similar TRD-branded accents inside, and the infotainment system is standard with navigation.
