Scorpion Prodigy P6 has a single wheel at the rear. The engine is a Suzuki Hayabusa and pulls 1.5g on a skidpad.
People who are forced to downsize due to economic or environmental reasons usually take one or two steps down the model ladder. It is not clear from where one would come from to purchase this three-wheeler, but the subtraction of one tire may make rationalization easier. The Scorpion Motorsports Prodigy P6 combines the best of both a single-seater sports car and a superbike. It’s powered by the same engine as the Suzuki Hayabusa, though we don’t know if that’s the 128kW (171.1hp), or the 147kW (197hp).
The package seems to have good stability, as it can pull 1.5g on a skidpad. Scorpion claims that the Prodigy can cover the distance between 0 and 60 mph in 3.3 seconds. The Prodigy can compete with stars such as the KTM X-Bow and Ariel Atom. The Prodigy is priced at US$40,000.
