Expect to see a tricked out Gladiator, Wrangler and Ram 1500, among other things.
The 2021 SEMA Show will return to Las Vegas in November, following its cancellation due to COVID in 2020. Stellantis, which will feature a variety of modified concept vehicles from Jeep and Ram equipped with different accessories, will be present at Mopar Performance.
It is unknown what the exact nature of these vehicles will be. Five teaser sketches of the vehicles were released. They don’t give the full picture. One is an Jeep Gladiator looking very militaristic. It has a grille guard and spotlights on the front, as well as a flat bumper with stenciling to the right. Another Jeep image shows the Rubicon’s hood with its off-road lights mounted, but it is not clear if this is a Gladiator or a Jeep. The interior of the Wrangler Rubicon is shown in a third Jeep photo. It appears to have a roof with small windows.
Two teaser sketches show a Ram pickup truck. However, it is not clear if the images represent the same concept. One image shows the truck’s backside, with a bed rack visible in plain sight. It is parked next to a tent. The second image shows a Ram tearing through dirt. Although it could be a Hellcat powered TRX, these sketches are teasers that feature SEMA-bound concepts.
Mopar did not give any other details about what was in store, aside from a brief announcement about the teasers. The brand didn’t say how many vehicles would be featured in its Vegas display, so it’s possible that there will be more teasers. The goal of the display is to highlight the many Mopar accessories that can be installed by dealers and factory for Jeep and Ram vehicles. Both of these models are very popular in the aftermarket.
The 2021 SEMA Show will be held November 2-5 at Las Vegas Convention Center.
