Lexus Introduces the Colorful LC and UX One-Offs at Pebble Beach

The LC and UX concepts are vibrant in color and offer a variety of cosmetic options inside and outside.

The Monterey Car Week will see Lexus debut two concepts. But don’t be too excited, these are just modified versions of existing models. The LC Inspiration Concept is based upon the LC 500. It comes with a Flare Yellow exterior color in the same vein of the Yellow Edition coupe.

The LC500 is a special edition that was created for the continent. It rides on massive 21-inch wheels with unique spoke designs and is finished in black to create a contrast effect. Lexus used a similar dark theme for the carbon fiber roof as well as the active spoiler at its back.

Yellow accents on the exterior have a counterpart inside, where Alcantara door inserts as well as the stitching for the semi-aniline leather upholstery are also available in yellow. The instrument panel, glovebox, and center console are finished off with yellow stitching.

The UX small crossover (pictured below), it looks just like what you would see at a SEMA event, for better and worse. The customized showcar was created by Clark Ishihara, VIP Auto Salon. It is based upon the UX 250h. The Lexus F Sport Carbon Fiber Road Bicycle can be stored on the roof rack. This bike was made to commemorate the end of production for the LFA supercar.

For its debut at Pebble Beach the tiny posh crossover received additional modifications. The stock wheels were removed to make way for Vossen aftermarket wheels. The vehicle also features a full catback exhaust system, and a prominent spoiler lip that gives it a sportier appearance.

Although the 2019 UX is not yet available in the United States, it is coming soon to dealers.
