Bold new color for the iconic off-roader.
The Jeep Wrangler can be found in bold colors. The off-road SUV will be available in a variety of colors, including Hellayella and Chief Blue. The brand has added a more striking paint job to the palette, Tuscadero.
Ralph Gilles , Stellantis Chief Designer Officer, teased the new paint job via Instagram a few months back. He suggested that the Tuscadero hue is named after Pinky Tuscadero of the TV series Happy Days. It will be available from now until November and is bold enough to help the brand celebrate its 80th birthday.
Jim Morrison, Vice President at Jeep, stated that “it’s the perfect moment to launch a confident custom color on the most iconic Jeep car – both of these are designed to stand out on roads and trails.”
Tuscadero costs $395 across the board. This makes it more expensive than premium paints (295) It is available in every Wrangler trim, configuration and engine – including the two-door Sport and the V8 powered 392. Unfortunately, Tuscadero has not yet been made available for the Gladiator.
The Wrangler Sport two door starts at $29,000.2021 before you add the new paint option. The plug-in 4xe costs $51,025, while the Wrangler 392 top-end Wrangler with 470 horsepower (350 Kilowatts) is $74,440. All of this before $1,495 destination fees.
Ford just announced new color options for its 2022 Bronco. The Jeep’s new paint job follows the announcement of Ford’s fresh Jeep paint job. The Blue Oval’s offroader also adds colors like Eruption Green or Hot Pepper Red. The Jeep Wrangler will continue to have the bolder exterior, even if Ford does not make its own magenta-colored Bronco.
