The New Lamborghini Countach is Sold Out

Lamborghini only makes 112 examples

Lamborghini resurrected last week the Countach brand nameplate for a limited edition model. Although the company stated that it would only produce 112 examples, if you are looking to buy one, you will be out of luck. Each and every one of the examples was taken into account before the big reveal, which is usually the case with limited-edition supercars.

Lucky 112 will receive an amalgamation that pays homage to one of the company’s most important and iconic models. Underneath the retro restyling is a Lamborghini Aventador. The hybrid powertrain is borrowed from the SIAN FKP 37 and pairs the brand’s naturally-aspirated V12 with an electrical motor. The setup makes a little less power in the Countach.

The hybrid powertrain generates 803 horsepower (599 Kilowatts) as well as 531 pound-feet (719 Newton-meters). It can accelerate the car to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 221 mph (355 kph). In 8.6 seconds, it can reach 124 mph (200 km/h). The acceleration times are greatly improved by the seven-speed automatic gearbox that delivers power to all four wheels. The unique design features include quad exhaust tips and taillights.

The supercars from Countach will be delivered to potential owners sometime in the latter part of this year. Although pricing information is not available, rumors suggest that the price will exceed $1 million. Others have put it at $3.5 million. This price seems reasonable for such a small production vehicle. The new Countach supercar is a modern version of an iconic car. Even though it may look far removed from the original, it has the right design cues.
