Ford Bronco offers Heritage-Inspired Eruption Green paint for 2022

Hot Pepper Red Metallic is also on the agenda.

Ford is one of the few automakers that taps into the nostalgia zeitgeist better than Ford . It’s looking back to the past for a new colour on the 2022 Bronco. Eruption Green Metallic may look like it is from the past. It’s based on the Mallard Green paint used on the first Bronco in mid-1970s. The new color is inspired by nature and features yellow highlights which make it look like a conifer tree at sunrise.

Eruption Green, a clever variation on the single-stage Mallard Green, is now available. The new Bronco color is a clever update to the single-stage Mallard Green. It includes metallic flake in its paint. This will show off the SUV’s hard edges and curved wheel arches. Ford isn’t the only one to draw inspiration from the past. Jeep has also had several concepts as well as production cars that have a retro feel.

Hot Pepper Red Metallic joins Eruption Green on a 2022 Bronco. Ford is a master at red, and the tinted coat on the new tone will make it even more vibrant and lustrous. Rapid Red Metallic will be replaced by the fiery new color in the Bronco, and will remain in use until the end of 2021.

Antimatter Blue (and Lightning Blue) are also leaving the lineup. The 2022 model will have Area 51, Cactus Gray and Velocity Blue as well as the new colors. The new colors were unveiled at the Woodward Dream Cruise where the Ford Bronco’s first-generation was featured. The Blue Oval’s first SUV with the wild-horse logo was built from 1966 to 1977. It is also one of the most beloved and collectible series-production cars.
