2022 Infiniti QX80 Revealed with Massive Dashboard Upgrades

The interior layout of the three-row SUV has been redesigned to look like the Armada.

Infiniti has given the HTML80 another update in time for the 2022 model-year. The interior of the three-row SUV is similar to the refreshed 2021 Nissan Armada.

The 2022 QX80 uses a 12.3-inch widescreen Infiniti InTouch display. The new infotainment system integrates with wireless Apple CarPlay, a departure from the previous dual-screen model. Android Auto, however, is still USB-based.

The QX80’s new infotainment system integrates navigation, line guidance and Infiniti’s Intouch Services. It also features wireless CarPlay and a wireless smartphone charger. The sound is produced by a Bose Premium Sound System. Intelligent Cruise Control is standard throughout the range, as well as leather seats in all three rows and heated captain’s chairs in the front and back.

The previous year will be replaced by the 2022 QX80. It will feature the same 5.6-liter V8 engine that produces 400 horsepower (298kilowatts), and 413 pound feet (560 Newton-meters). The power plant is connected via a 7-speed auto transmission. It powers either the rear wheels, or all four wheels via the All-Mode 4-wheel drive.

Along with the QX60 which was unveiled in June, the 2022 QX80 was also revealed. The new QX60, which is a three-row SUV for mid-size markets, is also available. Although it has a slightly different design than the QX80, it offers similar premium amenities to its full-size counterpart.

The pricing for the 2022 QX80 was not revealed in the press release. However, for reference, the current QX80 starts at $69 150 for the base Luxe trim without destination or handling.

The 2022QX60 is priced at $46,850 with the fully-loaded version going for $63,250.
