The color palette now includes Ember, Hydro blue, and Midnight Sky.
The first Grand Cherokee L was introduced by Jeep in January. Now, less than one year later, there are a number of updates to the three-row SUV for the 2022MY. reported that the options list now includes a touchscreen on the passenger side of the dashboard, similar to the Grand Wagoneer. It is 10.25 inches in size and supports navigation and camera viewing.
The 2022 Grand Cherokee L will also get a pair 10.1-inch screens for its rear entertainment system. They are complete with Amazon Fire TV. The screens will not be available until the Summit, Overland and Limited trims are made available. Each display will have 9GB storage available for Prime Video content, either downloadable or on-demand.
The 2022MY is a midsize SUV that also features an Ember shade. It’s available for the Limited, Overland Summit, Summit Reserve, and the Summit Reserve. The Grand Cherokee L can be ordered in a new Hydro Blue color but only for the Summit Reserve, Overland, Summit and Summit Reserve. Jeep will be adding Midnight Sky to the Limited, Overland Summit, Summit or Summit Reserve.
For its second model year, the SUV adds several appearance packages to its six- or seven-seat configuration. Summit High Altitude and Limited Black come with distinctive exterior accents such as a new grille design and glossy black badges. There are also 20- and 21-inch glossy black alloy wheels. Only the Limited can have the smaller set, while the Summit has the larger size.
Although the Grand Cherokee L was launched less than a year ago Jeep is still taking orders for the 2022MY and the two row Grand Cherokee.
