PaxPower gives the GMC truck a new look with two flavors.
The Ford F-150 Raptor from GMC has been a mystery. But PaxPower is not settling for that. They have introduced a new Jackal, based on the GMC Sierra.
Two stages are available for the new Sierra-based PaxPower Jackal. The Stage 1 upgrade is the one in black, while Stage 2 is the one in sinister-looking dark.
The Sierra Jackal Stage 1, just like the Silverado Jackal rides on 2.5-inch adjustable King Racing coilovers in the front and shocks in the back. Instead of using a factory-made ball joint, the coilovers come with a stronger upper control arm that has a stronger uniball joint. This setup gives you a 3.5 inch lift over the stock Sierra 1500. 35-inch offroad tires come standard with 17×9 wheels.
The Jackal Stage 1 tuning retails at $17,950 and includes a custom replacement head hood, 3-inch fender flares, and a Borla stainless steel dual exhaust system. PaxPower claims that the Stage 1 Jackal is better than GM’s Trail Boss and AT4 packages.
Sierra Jackal Stage 2, priced at $27,950, adds a long-travel suspension system to the vehicle and wider bodywork. The King coilovers, shocks, and other suspension components are now available with fabricated lower and upper control arms. This significantly increases suspension travel by around a foot. Deaver progressive rate leaf springs are installed in the rear for improved ride and travel.
PaxPower offers a 3.0-liter supercharger upgrade to the 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter engines. The 5.3L is now capable of producing 500 horsepower and the 6.2L can produce 420 horsepower. This upgrade will increase the engine’s power to 650. To be added to the above builds, the supercharger upgrade will cost $12,500.
