The dual 12.3-inch screen layout of the bigger brother is carried over, however it is not standard on the base model. Entry-level models will feature two round tube-type dials, a 7-inch color cluster and an 8.4-inch central screen. The round dials, instrument cluster and central display will all be contained in a single frame with a glossy piano lacquer.

The ambient lighting system uses LEDs and lights up in 64 colors. There’s also an optional Burmester3D surround sound system with 23 speakers. There are different trim levels, and you can get new seats. The higher-end models have a diamond-patterned design and additional support.

Customers can order the 2016 with the new adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlights or optional taillights with stardust effect, thanks to a lot of irregular and small reflectors.

Detroit will host a full unveiling of the Mercedes E-Class Sedan 2016 (W213) next month.
