Rumours of a Nissan Navara-based SUV circulated for a while. We’ve recently heard from the horses that an official reveal is planned for next year. Spy images that reveal the truth have been revealed, prompting Photoshop-savvy people to convert them into accurate renderings of 99% to give a glimpse of what’s coming.

It makes sense that Nissan would like to have a larger share of an automotive market dominated by SUVs. The new model, likely called “Paladin,” will be produced in China at an assembly facility in Henan Province. This joint venture between Zhengzhou Nissan and . The SUV will be known as the “Xterra” model for versions that are shipped outside the People’s Republic. We know what it will look like and have detailed information about the technical specifications. The Paladin / Xterra is expected to measure 4,885 millimeters (192.3 in), 1,865 mm (73.4in) wide, 1,835 mm (72.2in) high, and have a wheelbase of 2,850 mm (112.2in).
