The mid-engined Chevrolet Corvette continues to develop on Michigan’s roads. These spy shots are from Midengine Corvette forums and photographer David McDade. These photos provide a good overview of the highly anticipated vehicle, even though the car is still covered in camouflage. These photos show the rear of the midengine Corvette. The engineers have hidden the taillights of this model unlike previous test mules. However, they left the diffuser visible. There are four square exhaust outlets, two on each side. The rear deck is covered by a fixed wing. Although the angle of the rear window suggests that the engine may be visible on the production model’s model, the test mule has an extra layer mesh covering to conceal everything.

The mid-engined ‘Vette features a low-slung, rounded nose and large intakes at the corners. The fenders are adorned with sharp-edged headlights.

The powertrain specifications for the Corvette’s mid-engined Corvette remain largely unknown. According to the information, the base powerplant would be an existing 6.2-liter V8 with around 520 horsepower (388 megawatts). GT and Grand Sport versions` would use twin-turbo V8s that offer even more power. Recent reports have shown that high-horsepower versions of the Corvette are twisting their frames. Engineers are currently working to resolve this issue. According to reports, the mid-engine Corvette will make its debut at a special event this summer. According to , the unveiling will take place at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green (Kentucky).
