It is slower than we thought.
The Subaru Crosstrek is a beloved small SUV. These capable SUVs, which started life as an upgraded version of the Impreza hatchback, are loved by their owners. Many Crosstrek owners are able to focus on Crosstrek’s off-road capabilities and not worry about its performance on the road.
It doesn’t matter what the purpose of the car, it’s always entertaining to see a regular car push to the limits on the Autobahn. This video shows the Crosstrek’s 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine boxer engine. It produces 147 horsepower and 258lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. This engine is not available to Americans as the 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel boxer engine was the only one on the American market Crosstrek. It produced 154 horsepower (115 kW), and 145lb-ft (196 Nm) of torque. now offers a 2.5-liter engine with 182 horsepower (136 kW), and 176lb-ft (239Nm) of torque.
The Crosstrek is not designed for acceleration. Crosstrek was designed for adventure on gravel roads and muddy trails. It is not recommended to drive it on the autobahn. Although it is easy to overlook the Crosstrek’s 130 mph top speed, hypercars can reach over 300 mph. But for a consumer product, it’s quite impressive.
