Arctic Trucks Gives Isuzu Dmax a Makeover on the Road

You get a better suspension and larger tires.

Ford announced the Ranger Splash today. It stated that more than 80 percent of customers enjoy customizing their pickups. It’s no surprise that there are so many people who want to modify someone’s pickup. One company, which has a strong reputation for building rugged pickups, has just launched the Ranger Splash. The pickup is made by Arctic Trucks and is based on the Isuzu D-Max. It’s called the At35.

Arctic Trucks strengthened the chassis and added a Bilstein Performance suspension. The truck was mounted on 35-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. This truck is a formidable looking beast that would cause serious concern to any off-roader rival. Although the truck has more goodies, the truck’s appearance is tougher. However, the truck’s wider fender flares help to emphasize its presence. Arctic Trucks’ sidesteps make it easier to get in and out the truck for passengers.

The tuner’s interior features a branded headrest, sill covers, and Arctic Trucks floor mats. It also has a leather interior. The truck is equipped with an array of technology including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity and an HDMI port. It also features an eight-speaker sound system and subwoofer as well as a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display. Safety tech includes traffic sign recognition, emergency lanes keeping, parking sensors and forward collision warning.

The D-Max AT35 was developed in collaboration with Arctic Trucks, Isuzu UK. Only one powertrain is available on the pickup market: a 1.9-liter turbodiesel with 162 horsepower (121 Kilowatts) as well as 266 pound-feet (366 Newton-meters). You can choose between the six-speed manual or optional six-speed auto. The truck will be available for purchase on Valentine’s Day 2022. Although it is not yet available in the US the truck’s upgrade package and mean looks will make it fit right on American roads.
