2022 Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition Looks Bold in Black

This off-roader is ready to shake and stir.

The 25th James Bond movie No Time To Die is finally coming to theaters. You can expect Bond to appear in multiple Aston Martins, but Land Rover also will be on the big screen. A special-edition Defender will be made available to select buyers to ensure you are able to remember the occasion.

This is the Defender V8 Bond Edition, Land Rover says. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get extras such as machine guns or ejector chairs. This is due to the fact that such options are not available.

If the Defender’s on-screen pictures are any indication, it is just one of many Land Rovers being driven by baddies. The Defender is finished in a dark shade of black with 22-inch black wheels. It also gets special Defender 007 badges, a Defender 007 splash screen, and 007 water lamps.
All Bond Edition Defenders will have the four-door 110 model with the supercharged 5.0L V8 engine. It produces 518 horsepower (386 kilowatts) and is available in the four-door version. The SUV can reach 60 mph in just 5 seconds. We have to admit that the Bond connection adds a lot of coolness to this special edition. Land Rover will only make 300 of these special editions.

Finbar McFall, Land Rover Brand Director, stated that the Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition was an exclusive take on the strongest production Defender ever produced. It is inspired by vehicles in No time to die. It is a celebration of Land Rover’s 38 year association with James Bond and a meeting between two great British brands.

The Defender V8 SUV is priced at a staggering $100,000, but the Bond Edition costs a lot more. The US starting price for Land Rover is $114,600. Bond fans in the USA will have to wait an additional week before they can see the film. The movie will be available in American theaters starting October 8.
