For a great cause, a neat wrap.
How can you make the Koenigsegg Agera RS world-record car more eye-catching? A new wrap, inspired by the amazing art of James Jean, is one option. This is the perfect example of human achievement, combining amazing engineering with beautiful human expression through art.
The Koenigsegg Agera RS world-record car set the world’s top speed record for a production vehicle in 2017. To claim the title as the fastest production car in the world, this Koenigsegg Agera RS achieved a top speed of 277.87 mph while driving on a Nevada highway. Because Ruthie is an integral part of the Koenigsegg Family, this special car is affectionately known as Ruthie. Ruthie will be displaying her new wrap at California’s 20th Festival of Children later in the month.
The Koenigsegg Agera RS’ twin-turbo 5.0 liter V8 engine produces 1,341 horsepower (1,050 watts) and comes with the One Megawatt performance package. This amazing engine transmits power to ground via a 7 speed dual-clutch transmission, and then finally reaches pavement via the rear wheels.
The Koenigsegg Agera RS was based on the Koenigsegg Agera R, but it uses the knowledge from the Koenigsegg One:1, which had a power-to-weight ratio of 1360 PS to 1360 kg. The Koenigsegg Agera RS is a combination of both cars’ knowledge. It has more power, better aerodynamics and a lighter structure than the Koenigsegg Agera R.
The Koenigsegg Agera RS was so powerful that the Koenigsegg Team shut down a Nevada highway to prove it. The final result was 277.8mph, beating the Bugatti Veyron Supersport’s 267mph.
