Check out The Singer 911 DLS Testing at The Green Hell

It looks at home on the famed race track.

Singer is a familiar face that attracts attention. California-based company is well-known for its custom-built Porsche 911 creations. Two DLS models were introduced by the company earlier this year. They were displayed at the 2021 Goodwood Festival of Speed. New spy photos now show one 911 DLS, a dark green 964, being tested at the Nurburgring racetrack right in Porsche’s backyard. This was during an industry test day.

Singer has made its creations lighter and more efficient with the DLS standard for Dynamics and Lightweighting Study. Singer and Williams co-developed a number of carbon-fiber parts, as well as a flat-six engine with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter capacity. It produces 500 horsepower (373 kilowatts). Singer loves to package this much power in a beautiful, stylistically pleasing package.

Carbon fiber is used to improve the aerodynamics of the car and reduce unnecessary weight. Singer also received assistance from Williams in the design of a new underbody. This helped reduce the car’s curb weight due to the use advanced materials such as titanium and magnetism. The car’s handling was also improved by a lightweight suspension.

Singer will produce 75 DLS models and offer it on custom-built cars. This means that they will be rare on the roads. The spy photographers captured Singer at the race track. The custom 911 looked stunning at the Green Hell. Singer’s DLS models represent just one of the new products from the company. It is also currently working on an All Terrain Competition Study (ACS), but that is currently undergoing a minor redesign to please Porsche. Singer’s future looks exciting.
