2022 Toyota Tundra Reviewed With A New Color

Just around the corner is the truck’s launch.

It’s aggressive design and a big grille up front – it sounds just like every other truck on the market. The 2022 Toyota Tundra will make its global debut on September 19, 2021.

The Japanese automaker wants to give us a last preview of the full-size truck, before it is revealed via its customer-facing website. This Tundra TRD Pro is in a new color, rather than the old white version that was originally (and officially) leaked.

Toyota thought these phrases would best describe the new model in their teaser.

The Next Generation is Born From Invincible. The next generation is here. Brute strength. Terrain-tackling capability. Advanced towing technologies. The new 2022 Toyota Tundra is an impressive force to be reckoned.

The automaker also revealed the exact time of the launch, which will take place on Sunday at 9:00 PM. ET.

We know very little about the Tundra’s upcoming model, aside from the teasers and the orange paint color. The truck will be available in variable drive modes. A rear suspension has been shown. This shows a leafless setup.

Toyota teased the interior with a new infotainment screen and power-sliding rear windows. The new Tundra has many improvements in styling and features.

There’s also the issue of its powertrain. The teaser appears to show a V6 engine, which is consistent with reports that a twin-turbocharged V6 powers the new Toyota Land Cruiser. The SUV’s mill produces 409 horsepower (304 Kilowatts) as well as 479 pound-feet (465 Newton-meters) in torque.

We will soon have more information, so keep checking this space at the above time and date.
