A new trim level is available for the SUV and sedan.
Alfa Romeo has added 6C Villa d’Este editions to some European markets. This is in an effort to add some excitement to its lineup. The Tonale Crossover will be the new model in the Italian brand’s lineup next year. In the United States, customers can enjoy updated Giulia or Stelvio models for 2022.
The sedan will be getting new trims, with a new Veloce trim replacing the Ti Sport. This is “a performance gateway” for the Giulia range. All 2022 Giulia models are equipped with the ADAS family, which includes lane departure warning and automatic high beam headlamps.
There are no changes to the engine, but customers will be pleased to know that the 2022 Giulia standard equipment will include heated rear seats and a wireless charging pad. All new Giulias will have adaptive bi-xenon headlights and a dark radiator grille (on Sprint and Quadrifoglio trims) and a sport front fascia.
The Stelvio SUV picture is almost identical. It will be available in the same four trims – Sprint Ti, Veloce and Quadrifoglio. Standard equipment will include all the convenience features including heated front and rear seats. However, standard xenon headlights are not included in this list. The Sprint and Veloce models get aluminum-column-mounted paddle shifters inside the cabin.
The 2022 model year will see the Giulia QV (and Stelvio QV) continue to be the most powerful Alfa Romeos. They are powered by a 2.9-liter twin turbo V6 engine that produces 505 horsepower (371kilowatts), and 443 poundfeet (602 Newton-meters) respectively. Although 500 units of the global production run of 500 units have been sold, the automaker also owns the Giulia GTA (hardcore) and GTAm.
