It is amazing that nobody was injured in this mad melee.
This car accident is quite interesting. It’s hard to call this an accident considering that the pickup smashed into the roof of a home. Amazingly, no one was seriously injured in the crazy collision, but the truck driver was taken into custody by the police. We’ll get to that later.
It happened in Beloit, Wisconsin on October 12. Reddit user Ein_The_Pup shared the story with us and gave us permission to share the photos. These photos show what might happen if a RAM 1500 was used as the largest lawn dart in the world. The Beloit Daily News states that the truck was moving at a high speed and skipping through a ditch before it left the road. Pieter Bruner, 37 years old, was allegedly the driver of the truck. However, this is not Bo or Luke.
According to reports, the truck actually crashed through the roof and landed a few feet away from Joe Nyre who was at the time watching a football match in his garage. Nyre stated that the driver did not know what had happened or whereabouts. We suspect was under my roof. This situation would make it difficult for anyone to understand, even those with the most sharp minds and highest levels of awareness.
Bruner was, as you can see, not of sound mind or awareness at the time. According to the Beloit Daily News, Bruner was arrested for several offenses including operating a motor car under the influence, possessing drug paraphernalia, marijuana and reckless driving. The tests for impairment are still being conducted, so it is possible that the driver may have been under the influence. However, the photos are quite damning in light of the reckless driving charge.
Nyre’s house was damaged beyond repair. Although there is no estimate of the cost, it’s likely that it will be expensive to remove a truck from the roof and to fix the hole. Thankfully, no one was injured in this bizarre incident.
