You want a sturdy, compact roof tent that can hold gear? Look no further.
Roofnest’s latest addition to its line of hardshell roof tents has been revealed. It provides a comfortable and weatherproof spot to sleep outdoors, as well as a quick-deploying option. The Condor Overland is a combination of two popular Condor models. It offers the same design and features.
The Roofnest Falcon clamshell tent has a reputation for being durable, while the Condor is Roofnest’s most popular model due to its large sleeping area and compact size. Condor Overland is the company’s most durable fold-out roof tent. Roofnest considers the new model the best choice for outdoor adventurers and overlanders, particularly for those who don’t like motorhomes.
Condor Overland is made from aircraft-grade aluminum with the top and floor composed of honeycomb aluminum panels. Roofnest claims the aluminum construction can withstand severe overlanding conditions such as hail, stone and branch strikes at speed.
Condor Overland, just like Roofnest Falcon Pro has three accessory channels. These are compatible with crossbars for tent-mounted crossbars of three sizes (50, 54 and 60 inches). This system can hold 100 pounds of gear closed, and 40 pounds when it is operated. You can attach important offroading equipment such as axes, shovels and auxiliary lights to the accessory channels.
The Condor Overland measures 93 inches in length and 54 inches when open. It can sleep two adults, a dog, or a child on a 2.5 inch foam mattress. Roofnest stated that the mattress can be placed over a pickup truck bed. It weighs only 165 pounds.
The Rooftop Condor Overland is available at a sticker price $3,595. You can save $300 if you order one before December 3, 2021. Shipping to the lower 48 US states is included in the price.
