It doesn’t matter what it is called, it won’t be Ragnarok.

Koenigsegg will soon produce a successor to Agera RS. According to the Swedish newspaper DagensIndustri, the production run for the new model will be limited at 125 units.

The new hypercar, internally known as Ragnarok is set to be revealed at the Geneva auto show in Switzerland. The new Koenigsegg will be lighter and more powerful that its predecessor. It weighed in at less than 2900 pounds (135 kilograms) and produced more than 1300 horsepower (969 milliwatts) from a twin turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 motor. The Agera RS reached 277.9 mph (444.6 kph)., a record that the new Koenigsegg will surpass.

The Ragnarok will likely cost more than the Agera RS, which is $2 million. The model’s high cost doesn’t seem like it’s scaring away wealthy buyers. Dagens Inclustri claims that the automaker has taken orders for more than half the Ragnaroks currently in production.

The production model may be changing the name to something more associated with the Thorfilm. We expect that the new hypercar will take its name from Norse mythology, as the Agera RS models made by Koenigsegg had the names Thor and Vader . Once Koenigsegg officially unveils its latest creation, we’ll be able to find out more.
