New Alpina XB7 Makes Spy Photo Debut Sitting On Transport Trailer

Alpina will also get a new facelift for the BMW X7.

Technically, this is the first time we have seen the refreshed Alpina. We have already taken prototypes of the BMW X7concealing’s new facelift. Alpina’s exterior modifications to BMW cars are usually subtle so that the suave SUVs will share similar features when they are revealed.

This is the Alpina version. It is a classic Alpina version, with the oval quad exhaust outlets at the back. Extremely Observers will notice that the number plate at the rear does not have the OAL designation used for Alpina vehicles. Instead, it has the BMW manufacturer plate. This could be because the vehicle is full of BMW cars, but we are confident that this is the Alpina-tuned SUV.

We know from previous sightings that this update will bring the face to facelift. The headlights are now mounted lower with narrow running lights located just below the hood in split designs. The new design was confirmed by a previous batch of X7 spy photographs . However, renderings indicate that it may be a controversial update when it finally comes out. Alpina will now have a completely new fascia, but it is difficult to discern details with the prototype being parked so close to another vehicle.

At the back, it is not the same. Alpina will install a rear fascia that has different cutouts to accommodate its exhaust outlets. Although it is missing from the prototype, a small diffuser can also be expected. Other BMW-specific modifications to the rear hatch will likely be minimal. They will stick to trim add-ons and taillights. Interior screens will be larger than the iX.

The Alpina XB7 and current X7 are both young models. BMW will unveil the updated model in late 2018 or early next year, as a 2023 model. Alpina XB7 will follow either as a 2023 or 2024 model.
