This Porsche 928 Graveyard is the Saddest You’ll Ever See

The car’s owner does not wish to sell or restore them.

Although the Porsche928 is not the porschists’ favorite model, it was manufactured from 1978 to 1995 which is an unusual and admirable lifespan of 17 years. A Porsche 928 graveyard was recently discovered. The front-engine sports car enjoyed some success in the United States.

This find is due to Steve Rhodes who, through a facebook post, explains how he found several Porsche 928s abandoned in a field. Steve was responsible for finding locations to film the West World program. He was shocked to discover that there were 13 Porsche 928s parked in the open, waiting for rescue.

The landowner was a friend of what turned out to be the car’s owner. The Porsche enthusiast asked for a place to store his cars and has not returned since. According to available information, the owner appears to be still alive but has lost interest in the cars that cost a lot of money today. According to reports, the owner doesn’t want them to be sold or restored and would prefer that they die there for an unknown reason.

Steve warns anyone who is malicious that the Porsches are rotting in a field protected by cameras. He is well aware that smart children will locate the location on Google Maps and might be tempted to go there to get a car, parts or explore the area.

The prices for Porsche 911s vary based on their condition and their engine. The V8 engine that powered the model ranged from 4.5 to 5.4 Liters in displacement. The first version produces 240 horsepower (176kilowatts), while GTS generates 350 hp (257kW). There are many models in this graveyard. Will you be able recognize them all?
