Ecoboost Premium receives the Coastal Edition, which includes stripes along the sides as well as a body-color grille.
Ford launches the 2022 Mustang range with the Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition, and the Coastal Limited Edition of the four-cylinder turbocharged model. The GT500 gets a bright, new color option.
The GT500 Heritage pays tribute to the 1967 original model. These limited editions are available in Brittany Blue only. There are two options for striping. Vinyl stripes can be added to the fascia and roof, roof, rear deck, and roof. A stripe is also available along the side that features the GT500 logo.
Another option is to paint stripes on the front, hood and roof. A unique GT500 logo is also available.
Wimbledon White is available for both stripe options. These packages will be available for purchase starting in November. Deliveries will begin in spring 2022. The 2022 GT500 is priced at $73,465 plus a $1195 destination fee, and $2,600 Tax on Gas Guzzlers. The Heritage Package adds $2140 to the price of the vinyl stripes and $12,140 for a painted version.
The Ford 2022 Shelby GT500 also has the Code Orange paint option. This model joins the colors Brittany Blue Metallic and Atlas Blue Metallic as well as Cyber Orange Metallic Tri-Coat and Dark Matter Gray Metallic.
Ford Performance models are the only ones that can use Code Orange. It is also available on the F-150 Raptor The future Bronco Raptor The, and GT.
2022 Mustang Coastal Limited Edition can only be purchased with the Ecoboost Premium trim, which has a 310-horsepower (231 kilowatt) engine. The package comes with 19-inch wheels that have a machined face, tarnished dark details and 19-inch wheels. The package also includes skinny vinyl stripes that run across the hood, beltline, rear fender side scoop and black grille. A pedestal rear spoiler is also available on the coupe.
The Coastal edition comes in Brittany Blue and Cyber Orange. It is also available on convertible and fastback bodies. Ford opens orders for the fall on November 15 and deliveries will begin in the spring of 2022. The 2022 Mustang EcoBoost Premium is priced at $32,225 plus a $1195 destination fee. This package adds $1.995 to the cost.
