The pickups are powered by a supercharged V8 engine of 850 horsepower.
Specialty Vehicle Engineering has two new Yenko/SC Silverado models in 2022. These models will be in short supply due to the continuing chip shortage – not directly. SVE will build only 50 Yenko trucks. The one with the street appearance gets a lower suspension, while the other has a more robust suspension to handle off-road terrain.
The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine in the 2022 Yenko/SC Silverado off-road and 2022 Yenko/SC Silverado packs 850 horsepower (633 kilowatts), and 800 pound-feet (1.084 Newton-meters). The engine features forged aluminum pistons and a forged, twisted steel crankshaft. It also has CNC-ported cylinder head. High-flow cats and custom stainless steel headers are included. The Yenko Off-Road receives a four-inch front suspension lift and two at its rear, while the other model is lowered five and two inches respectively.
The visual differences between the two vehicles are further enhanced by their visual upgrades. Side stripes are added to the Yenko Silverado, while the Yenko Off-Road receives an aggressive rear quarter-panel graphic as well as unique wheels. Both trucks feature custom 850HP badges on their tailgates and hood inserts. SVE also offers a leather trim package for the trucks that can be fitted with any of seven colors. Customers have the option to choose the color of accent stitching. The SYC logo and Yenko crests are embroidered onto the headrests.
The Off-Road Yenko can be found on 2022’s crew- and double-cab Silverado pickups. The lowered Yenko Silverado can be found on the crew- or double-cab LTX, RST, LTX and High Country trims. Both upgrades work with either the short or standard bed length, and both trucks come with three-year/36,000-mile limited warranties for the heavy-duty automatic gearbox and the supercharger and engine assembly. These trucks can be purchased at GM dealers across the country.
