To be exact, $39,300
Acura unveiled its facelifted HTML22 RDX in September 2021. While the crossover received minor exterior and interior updates, it also features a little more standard equipment. Although the price tag is higher than in previous years, it’s still a small increase.
The price of the 2022 RDX is $39,300 for a front wheel-drive model. This is a $900 increase over 2021. However, a $1045 destination fee officially pushes the entry level RDX above the $40,000 barrier to $42,045. Prices start at $42,545 for all-wheel drive with no destination fees.
These starting figures will get an RDX in silver with a black interior, silver 19-inch tires, and that’s just the base MSRP configuration. You can get any other color combination for an additional $500. The base price of front-wheel-drive models is under $40,000, but it is highly unlikely that you will ever find one.
Base price includes a 10.2-inch touchscreen and an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. AcuraWatch driver assistance and safety systems, including lane-keep aid and automatic emergency braking are included in the entry-level RDX. Acura’s Active Sound Control is standard equipment, which includes leather-trimmed seats and a nine-speaker system. Regardless of trim level, all RDX customers get the turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder generating 272 horsepower and 203 kilowatts connected to a 10-speed auto transmission.
The range-topping RDX PMC version is at the opposite end of the price scale, but you won’t see it on the roads as a base model RDX. Acura will only make 200 of the $53,300 (55,295 after destination), PMC editions, which are painted in the same Long Beach Blue as the and NSX. Most RDX buyers will likely find a model with all-wheel drive that has at least the Technology Package for between $45,000 to $50,000. Below is a breakdown of pricing for 2022 RDX including all trims and available packages.
