There will be some adult envy.
This could be a sensitive subject for some people. We are aware of those who have ordered a new Ford Bronco, and are eagerly awaiting its arrival. Your kids may be able to get the off-roader sooner than you, but in a smaller, more refined form.
Naturally slightly detuned This is an understatement. It’s actually a battery-powered mini Bronco for children, manufactured by Kid Trax Licenses available starting at Ford It has an official feel. It looks as cool as the real Bronco and even shares some of its features. The doors can be removed and the “roof”, as well, can be taken off. The roof is actually side covers in this case since the occupants are well above the roofline. However, the result is a two-door roofless look that imitates the Bronco in grand fashion.
There are a few more features that the Kid Trax Bronco offers for children to enjoy. The Kid Trax Bronco’s seats were inspired by the full-size offroader. Rubber traction strips on the rubber-molded wheels give better grip on all surfaces. The grille has LED running lights, a realistic engine and horn sound, and an FM radio with MP3 support.
The Bronco can reach speeds of up to 5 mph if you lower the throttle. This is enough for off-roaders who are just starting out, but not enough to cause heart disease in their parents. The charging point for your battery is revealed by a faux fuel-filler door. The purchase includes a 12-volt charger and a battery.
Adults who are impatient in buying Broncos might be tempted to buy one even though they don’t have children, but there is still a waiting period. Kid Trax lists the Bronco ride-on toys as being available soon on its website without specifying a time frame. It doesn’t mention the price but it will be exclusive to Target stores once production begins.
