Jeep revealed a slight price increase to the Jeep 4xe at the end of January 2021 when its configurator was launched online. But that was not the end. However, the plug-in hybrid offroader receives a price update in July.
According to the latest Jeep ordering guide, CarsDirect has revealed that the American automaker will add another price increase for the model year 2022. Although historically, prices have been mostly incremental with the most recent one being a $1005 increase, the year-on-year increase is actually around $4,635 which is equivalent to a 9-percent hike.
Jeep’s most recent ordering guide shows that the 2022 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4xe starts at $54,125, including destination. The Rubicon 4xe begins at $57,825. This is a significant price difference compared to the initial price tags which were $53,190 and $49,490, respectively.
CarsDirect also found that the Wrangler 4xe’s standard equipment was unchanged. The electrified Wrangler model is the best choice if you are looking to purchase one for your trails adventures.

The electrified Jeep Wrangler draws power from a turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder. It produces 375 horsepower (637 Newton-meters), and 470 poundfeet (637 kilowatts). The PHEV’s 17-kilowatt hour lithium-ion battery can supply power for up to 21 miles in full-electric mode.
