The North Florida Speedway, a joke aside, is for sale for less than $800,000. It was built in 1963, and is considered Florida’s second-oldest track. The Drive explains that Sebring and Daytona are older tracks, but it doesn’t matter. It’s still an oval track that is operational with over 6,000 followers. It generates around $200,000 in net profits every year, according to the advertisement.
Two motor graders, two concession stands and a 40×100 steel structure have been added to the 3/8-mile semi-banked dirt track. For the new owner, the sellers will also construct an apartment on site with four bedrooms and two baths.
The ad also states that the value add opportunity is for someone who wants to have fun, get dirty and reap the rewards of a successful establishment. The smell of rubber and exhaust mixed with the smells of hotdogs and hamburgers will make you excited to own your own racetrack.
