Mercedes CLE Coupe Officially Rendered Based on Spy Shots

The CLA and CLS will be able to fit the new two-door model.

Mercedes-Benz announced that it will reduce its lineup starting last year , taking out coupes and convertibles from its portfolio. The Mercedes CLE, a new model from the German automaker, will replace the two-door models.

Numerous sightings have confirmed the arrival of this two-door model. It will replace the E-Class, C-Class coupe, and convertible models. It rides on Mercedes’ MRA-2 platform which is shared with the most recent generation C-Class, and S-Class.

Our friends at Kolesa quickly created an unofficial rendering based on the most recent spy shots of CLE. The coupe version uses the same Mercedes design language as the new Mercedes models. We are optimistic that Stuttgart will continue to use its current styling for its all-new model.

Early rumors suggest that the CLE will fall between the C- and E in terms size. It will take the place between CLS and CLA in the automaker’s lineup. The CLE will be available in both coupe and convertible body styles, as previously mentioned.

The CLE will be taking the E-Class’ and C-Class’ powertrain options, as well as other oily bits, information is scarce at this time. The CLE will be the two-door, more affordable model for those looking for a stylish Merc without the need to upgrade to the AMG models.

As a 2023 model-year, the all-new CLE-Class is most likely to make its global debut in the second half 2022. We can expect more prototype testings and sightings, so we should all be on the lookout for any new developments.
