New Audi Q6 E-Tron Spy Pics Provide Up-Close Look At Crossover

New spy photos show the 2023 Audi Q6E-Tron still wearing a camouflage wrap. We doubt that the crossover’s design will differ from the QRon. Although we have few new details, these photos give us a better look at the new model. Although the coverings aren’t too shocking, the new Q6 E-Tron should tick all the boxes for a traditional crossover.

Although the AudiEV will have a unique design, its underpinnings are not so special. The Premium Platform Electric (PPE), co-developed by Audi, Porsche and data The Audi EV will be able to ride on the platform that also supports the fully electrical Porsche Macan. PPE models have a range of 500 km (310 miles) depending on how they are tested. The base configuration will be a single-motor, rear wheel-drive layout. The Q6 will most likely follow. Quattro will offer a dual-motor, all wheel-drive setup.

The PPE platform may allow the Q6’s 800-volt electric system to be compatible with 350-kilowatt fast charging. Audi may offer the Q6 with two charging ports, one on each side of the rear fender. The RS high-performance variant could produce around 590 hp (439 kW); however torque and horsepower numbers are still unknown. Customers can expect a variety of outputs and varying ranges.

The Audi Q6 E-Tron models will likely start to roll off the Ingolstadt assembly lines next year. It is expected that it will arrive in the USA as a 2023 model. However, the Q6’s boxy appearance will not be the only one. A sleeker Sportback body style will debut in 2023 to give the crossover’s small dimensions a sporty facelift. Audi plans to launch 20 all-electric models in the middle of this decade. The majority of its lineup will also be hybrids.
