2022 Lexus LC500 Gets New Suspension and Bespoke Build Customization

The starting price remains steady at $93,050.

You don’t need to try to make design changes to the 2022 Lexus LC500. The interior of this suave luxury coupe is unchanged. The LC 500’s order books and bones are the most notable changes for 2022.

The suspension is what we mean by bones. Lexus engineers decided to make the two-door sportier a little more agile. Front and rear suspension tunings were “optimized for ground contact feel, linear response and steering effectiveness in high cornering G range”. Although Lexus does not disclose the exact details of the optimization process, the automaker promises that the 2022 LC 500 will be more agile and provide better feedback to drivers. This is especially true for models that come with the sport package. It features polished 21-inch wheels with black accents.

Lexus follows luxury brands in launching a comprehensive owner customization program. The service is called Bespoke Build and is only available for LC 500 models that have the sport package. The floodgates open to all options that are either exclusive to the service or previously only available on limited edition models. The exterior and interior can be customized with a variety of colors. Bespoke Build also has options for wheels, spoilers and a carbon fiber roof.

Vinay Shahani (Lexus vice president of marketing), stated that LC buyers are car lovers and know what they want. They are connected and tech-savvy. We are delighted to offer them a new online tool that allows you to create your Bespoke Build.

On November 17, Lexus will release a Bespoke Build configurator to the LC 500. If you are happy with the standard version of the LC 500, you will be pleased to know that there is no price increase starting in 2021. The 2022 LC 500 MSRP is $93,050 and should be available in dealerships by the end.
