Toyota Proace Camper is a Nifty $45,800 Motorhome That The US Should Buy

These four campers were converted by Toyota and mark Toyota’s debut participation at Spain’s International Caravan Show.

Toyota is joining the 2021 International Caravan Show. However, the Japanese automaker is not new to motorhomes. We have seen a number of campers made by the Japanese automaker, both official and unofficial. Most were converted Toyota Tacomas. A official Chinook-inspired SEMA Show Tacoma is also in progress.

This is however the first time the automaker has launched a complete line of camper conversions in other parts, especially in Spain. There are four of these super-cool machines.

Tinkervan and Toyota Spain collaborated on the conversion of motorhomes. It is part of Toyota Se Adapta which prepares and transforms models for official release in Spain.

Toyota Spain displayed four camper conversions at the 2021 International Caravan Show. Three of them were Proace models in different sizes and with different powertrains. The largest was the Proace Verso Camper minivan, which is designed for outdoor enthusiasts who need a practical and versatile vehicle. The interior features include a pop-up roof and a 40-liter refrigerator. There is also a removable kitchen sink module that can be used indoors or outdoors.

Toyota Spain introduced the Proace Mini Camper, which is a compact, versatile, spacious, and well-equipped minivan that can be used for both daily use and leisure. The interior has a two-seater removable bed, a table for indoor or outdoor use, a 10-liter water tank, an electric refrigerator, and the option to put up a tent.

Toyota Spain also displayed the Proace Verso Electric With Self-Installing KIT and the Toyota Hilux Unbreakable with Housing Cell. However, details are limited for both models.

With current exchange rates, the Proace Verso Camper’s price starts at EUR 39.699 or approximately $45,800. The smaller Proace City Mini Camper costs EUR 27,547, or about $31,800.
