Dodge only plans to build 250.
This year marks the 85th birthday of Stellantis Mopar division. To celebrate, there is a special edition 2022 Dodge Durango. Only 250 units will be made by the company, 200 for the USA and 50 for Canada. This year, the crossover debuts at the SEMA Show.
Two colors are available for the Mopar Durango: White Knuckle and DB Black. No matter what shade you choose, the Mopar Blue stripe runs from the front fascia to your rear bumper along the driver’s side. The Mopar badge on the grille and Brembo brake calipers have the same, eye-catching colors. The crossover is equipped with 20-inch wheels in a dark finish, and a Mopar 1-inch lowering kit.
The cabin is a combination of suede and leather on the front seats. Mopar Blue is used for the accent stitching. On the seatbacks, you will find the Mopar logo embossed. The instrument panel also features the same emblem. Additional amenities include a pedal accent kit and all weather floor mats.
The package includes a 5.7-liter V8 that produces 360 horsepower (269 kilowatts) as well as an eight-speed automatic transmission. The crossover’s sound is enhanced by the SRT performance exhaust. The Tow N Go package allows the vehicle to tow 8,700 pounds (3.946 kilograms). The standard features include an electronic limited slip differential and an SRT active damping suspension.
Mopar Durango buyers also receive a metal certificate confirming their vehicle’s authenticity and a rendering by the Mopar Design Team.
In the first quarter 2022, Dodge dealers will be accepting orders for the Mopar Durango. They’ll also be available in dealers by summer 2022. This package costs $3,995 more than a 2022 Durango T/T AWD with Plus Group and Tow N Go Package.
